The regular meeting of the LONG ISLAND EMERGENCY VEHICLE TECHNICIANS was held on Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at the Setauket FD Station # 3. The chefs did an outstanding job at the barbeque and in the kitchen – the steaks were excellent – their group certainly earned the LIEVT chefs’ hats they were presented with. About fifty members were in attendance.

The regular meeting of the LONG ISLAND EMERGENCY VEHICLE ASSOCIATION was held at the Wantagh Fire Department on February 24, 2010. More than forty members enjoyed an excellent dinner prepared by the members of the Wantagh Fire Department who were presented with LIEVT chefs’ hats which were well deserved. The dinner was hosted by Mobile Fleet.

Commissioner Craig Craft and ex-Chief John Loeber did an outstanding job in the kitchen – the food was excellent – their group certainly earned the LIEVT chefs’ hats they were presented with. About sixty members were in attendance.

The regular meeting of the LONG ISLAND EMERGENCY VEHICLE TECHNICIANS was held on Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at the Bay Shore F D. Roger Robichaud, ex Captain of Bay Shore Hook and Ladder was in charge of the dinner – the volunteers included a professional chef – they certainly deserved the LIEVT chefs’ hats they were presented with.

At 8 PM the meeting was opened by the President, Steve Velazquez, who led the pledge to the flag. He asked Kit to read the minutes of the meeting at Elmont on February 4, 2009– the minutes were read and approved by a motion made by Frank Cherba and approved by Steve Velazquez.
